Ever wondered what happens to a pallet once it’s no longer fit for use? At PR Pallets, we’re passionate about extending the life of every pallet through reuse, repair, and recycling.
Old or damaged pallets are collected from warehouses, retailers, and sites where they’re no longer needed.
Each pallet is assessed. Some are repairable, others are stripped for usable parts, and a small portion goes to recycling.
Where possible, pallets are repaired using reclaimed wood and returned to circulation. This helps reduce the need for new timber and keeps costs down.
Pallets that can't be repaired are recycled. Wood is chipped and used for everything from garden mulch to biofuel and particle board.
This process not only diverts waste from landfill, it also lowers the carbon footprint associated with manufacturing new pallets.
